Tax Advisor

Abdullah Kılınç specializes in international tax structuring (ITS), merger and acquisition projects (M&A), tax disputes and tax compliance studies.

After graduating from Middle East Technical University in 2005, Abdullah Kılınç worked in PwC tax department in Istanbul for nine years. During his experience at PwC, he was mostly involved in corporate tax full-certification and merger and acquisition projects together with international tax planning jobs.

In 2014, Abdullah Kılınç started working as a tax manager in an International Group of Companies with a mandate of forming a tax team, and as tax director, he established a global tax team, responsible for more than 15 countries in 5 sectors with satellite management offices in 5 countries (Turkey, Netherlands, Switzerland, Colombia and Kazakhstan).

In addition to his role as Tax Director, he represented the buy side and sell side in in M&A transactions in many countries such as Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, USA, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Russia, Uzbekistan, Malta and held many different global administrative roles, including board membership in foreign subsidiaries.

Abdullah Kılınç, who worked as a tax partner in charge of international tax services and M&A tax transactions at a law firm for a period of time in 2020, continues to share his professional experience and experience in tax consultancy and law with his clients under the identity of Kılınç Advisory as of July 2021.

Abdullah Kılınç, who was a member of the Istanbul SMMM Chamber for more than 10 years, graduated from Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Law in 2021 and registered in the Istanbul Bar Association. He speaks English fluently and French and Russian at beginner level. He is married and has a daughter.
